What other data do you think we could look at to help us gauge a country’s level of development? Why would it help?
babunello [35]
GDP, which we use right now, to see how many people have jobs, at what income, to decide how good the economy is. We could possibly use population density, as poorer countries/less developed countries tend to be more dense all around. Mainly economic things though, so GDP, income per capita. We use life expectancy, rate of literacy, freedom index..hope this helps

What theory explains the causes of earthquakes and volcanoes? continental drift hydrologics plate tectonics weathering
Over [174]
It's plate tectonics, Earthquakes can be cause by ...

Destructive boundaries (where an oceanic plate goes under a continental plate which causes pressure to build up by friction, and when is released, causes an earthquake)
Or Conservative boundaries where 2 plates rub against each other causing pressure to build up and be released as an earthquake.

Volcanos can be made by...
constructive plate boundaries where 2 plates pull away from each other, leaving large cracks in the earth for magma to erupt.
As well as...

Hotspots which are on the plate itself not a boundary.

Which of the following processes have contributed to the evolution of the Earth over time?
Romashka-Z-Leto [24]

Answer: B.  I, II, IV, and V only

Explanation:

The motion of crustal plates has led to various changes in the earth such as the formation of mountains and continents moving to other locations. The rock cycle is also significant as well as rocks make up so much of the land surface.

Erosion has moved soil from place to place and even created iconic landmarks such as the Grand Canyon. When soil is moved from one place and put in another this is called deposition.
