Child type o => genotype oo
mother type A => genotype AA or Ao
AA would not have given birth to type o (genotype oo), mother must have genotype Ao.

So father must contribute to the other o allele, so possible genotypes are:
Ao, Bo or oo.

Therefore the father's possible phenotypes are type A, type B or type O.

is a recessive, hereditary disease that is life threatening because of overproduction mucus in vital organs such as the lungs
user100 [1]

The cystic fibrosis is a condition, in which the secretion of mucus in some vital organs such as lungs, pancreas, and stomach becomes sticky and thick.

This condition is caused by the inheritance of the recessive gene responsible for the development of the cystic fibrosis.

The thick and the sticky mucus gets lined up on the walls of the organ and causes the clogging of the tubes and the ducts, hence, instead of providing lubrication they act as clogging agent and causing major damage to some vital organs, especially, lungs and the pancreas.

Why do we still have dams in existence today?
JulsSmile [24]
Human beings seek to build dams because because dams acts as water reservoirs. They are useful in releasing water in a controlled way, thus floods can be avoided. Moreover, hydroelectricity can be produced from this stored water. Helpful in irrigation process due to controlled release of water.
