The given question is not complete. The complete question is:

A company in San Francisco uses petroleum products to make plastics. Arrange the sentences in the correct order to show how the company could be contributing to climate change.

Put in order:

1.Burning fuel releases greenhouse gas

2.higher air temperature causes ocean water to evaporate more rapidly

3.Greenhouse gases trap solar radiation and warm up the atmosphere

4.The company burns fuels to make plastic

5.The amount of water vapor in the air rises, which further increases the air temperature

Answer:

The development of the source of energy that takes place millions of years to form by the action of temperature and pressure under the heap of sediments are known as fossil fuels. The organic matter of dead plants and animals are the raw materials needed for fossil fuel development, however, these are the non-renewable source of energy as it never is replenished once vanished.

These fossil fuels are used in enormous amounts by the industries, which liberate gases like sulfur dioxide, carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and other deleterious components upon burning. These gases are the major source of global warming that even contributes to climate change.

Based on the given question, the following are the steps in the correct order that contributes to climate change:

4. The burning of fuel is done by the company to produce plastic.

1. This burning of fuel discharges greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

3. The trapping of solar radiation takes place by greenhouse gases, which eventually increases the temperature of the atmosphere.

2. This increase in the temperature of the air makes the water bodies like oceans evaporate more briskly.

5. This further results in the increase in the concentration of water vapor in the air that further elevates the temperature of the air.

Quaking aspen trees can send out underground stems for asexual reproduction. Sexual reproduction is not as common, but when it d
Doss [256]

Answer:

38

Explanation:

  • Sexual reproduction happens when there is the involvement of two parents to give rise to the offsprings.
  • For the production of offsprings, each of the parents produces a haploid gamete and it is by the fusion of these two haploid gametes that a diploid organism is produced.
  • In the given situation, there are 19 chromosomes present in the haploid gametes this means that a diploid individual will have 2X19 = 38 chromosomes.
  • Now the underground stem cells are not gametes but somatic cells and the somatic cells are diploid and hence, they will have 38 chromosomes.

Scilla [17]

Answer:

  • Only fMet-tRNA(fMet) can bind first to the P site in the ribosome. ( A )
  • There are more than one tRNA with the 5' CAU 3' anticodon. ( B )
  • The N-formyl group attached to methionine prevents fMet from entering  interior positions in a polypeptide. ( D )

Explanation:

The statements that explains how N--formyl methionine (fMet) is only associated with the 5' AUG initiation codon and not with internal AUG codons, given that methionine in both cases in encoded by an AUG in the mRNA are :

Only fMet-tRNA(fMet) can bind first to the P site in the ribosome. ( A )

There are more than one tRNA with the 5' CAU 3' anticodon. ( B )

The N-formyl group attached to methionine prevents fMet from entering  interior positions in a polypeptide. ( D )
