DSL  - DSL stands for Digital Subscriber Line. This technology came after the Dial Up technology for connecting to the Internet. The big disadvantage of Dial-up technology was that when you were talking on the phone, you could not use the Internet and vice-versa. However, although DSL technology used the regular telephone line , it worked on frequencies different from the telephone. So you could use the phone and the Internet at the same time.

Differences between windows xp and windows vista
krek1111 [17]
Well since Windows XP runs on Windows 2000 technology,it would be "slow".Also that Windows XP had MSN,which expired 15 years ago,but the good thing about Windows XP is that it can connect to the internet via WiFi without the computers hardware used for WiFi(PC only). Also that Windows XP has a logo on the start-up screen.Windows Vista on the other hand, doesn't have a logo on the start-up screen, but shows a Windows Vista animated logo atfer the start-up screen. Also that some people named Windows Vista "The first Windows 7".But somewhat,Windows Vista ran faster than Windows XP at starting up.Windows Vista was old,but it sold better than Windows XP.

Is part of a computer's hardware that executes each instruction in a program?
zlopas [31]
The CPU, or central processing unit, is the hardware that takes most of the load when running a program. It will perform complex calculations and execute every instruction as the program continues.

The GPU, or graphics procession unit, is the hardware that could also play a major roll in calculating the instructions to execute a program, though this depends on how graphically intensive the program is. For example, games would use a lot more GPU power than say a simple calculator application.
