In the figure you can say ∠1 + ∠4 = 180° because both together make a line so you can say : 63° + ∠4 = 180° ⇒ ∠4 = 180° - 63 ° = 117 ° so the answer is :
∠4 = 117° :)))
i hope this is helpful

Since j is a straight line, angle 1+angle 4=180
angle1=63
find angle 4
angle1+angle4=180
63+angle4=180
subtract 63 from both sidess
angle4=117
the answer is 117 degrees

Find the missing angle.
notsponge [240]

Answer:

y=51, z and x= 129

Step-by-step explanation:

its complicated, but try to think of it as 51 and x/z are complementary angles, meaining they are on the same line, which means they equal 180, which makes this easier to solve meaning all you have to do is subtract 180-51=129.

Given f(x) and g(x) = k⋅f(x), use the graph to determine the value of k.
ollegr [7]

Answer:

k=5

Step-by-step explanation:

step 1

Find the equation of the line f(x)

we have the points

(-4,0) and (-2,2)

Find the slope m

m=(2-0)/(-2+4)\\m=1

Find the equation of the line in point slope form

y-y1=m(x-x1)

we have

m=1\\(-4,0)

substitute

y-0=(1)(x+4)

y=x+4)

Remember that

f(x)=y

so

f(x)=x+4

step 2

Find the equation of the line g(x)

we have the points

(-4,0) and (-2,-10)

Find the slope m

m=(10-0)/(-2+4)\\m=5

Find the equation of the line in point slope form

y-y1=m(x-x1)

we have

m=5\\(-4,0)

substitute

y-0=(5)(x+4)

y=5(x+4)

Remember that

g(x)=y

so

g(x)=5(x+4)

Remember that

g(x)=kf(x) ------> g(x)=5(x+4)

therefore

k=5
