I assume that you are referring to Neil deGrasse Tyson's article. I would say the correct answer is B. Scientists do not claim to have special powers. Tyson argues that the only way we can really have an insight into the world around us is not through our five senses, much less through what parapsychologists call the sixth sense. It is through scientific analysis and apparatus that science has created - through the hardware - that we get to know precisely what happens around us. Our senses even hinder our knowledge, creating false impressions about the outside world. It is true that there is so much more in the world than we can see or hear; but parapsychology is not the way to assess the truth. Science is.

As for C and D options, here's why I think they are wrong. The fact that some people profess to hear and see things others cannot is not the central thesis of this article. It doesn't explain why parapsychology is nonsense; it just defines it. And Tyson doesn't refer to any particular experiments that have shown that parapsychology is nonsense.

In the article, the author - Neil de Grasse Tyson discusses parapsychology and writes that comparing it with real science is absurd because there is no way to support the sixth sense in humans. He notes that our senses are limited and scientific knowledge is needed to prove the theories. The correct answer is D.

1. The author of this poem felt that her parents did not love her due to the fact that they gave her restrictions and stopped her from doing some things.

2. The author succeeded in giving her parents discomfort because she left to be with her friends. She left to a place where she could do anything.

This is not alright because she could have gone astray and gotten into trouble due to this. Other than this, she could have jeopardized her future.

3. What the author realized about her friends is the fact that they did not really love her. They left her.

4. Through the bad times and the good times the people that were there for her were her family.

Yes I agree with the words of the poem. It tells us that family is everything and the love from ones family is genuine, corrective and helps to direct our paths.

5. The advice that the author gave to is that children have to keep an open mind to the teachings they receive from their families in order to get better in life.

If I am to advice I would say a similar thing. The corrections from our parents may seem tough sometimes, but they correct us because they love us and they want the best for us.

Most of them have much experience of the world and the society we live in. They advice us so that we would not make mistakes that are difficult to correct.

A brief summary of the poem

This is a poem that talks about a defiant child who refused her parents advice. She felt they did not love her so she sought for this in her friends.

Her friends left her at the end and she realized her parents would always be there for her.
