<span>The US got involved because they wanted to stop the spread of communism. This was called containment. The war was a success in that they held off the North Korean invasion, and it showed that the US would help any country with the risk of becoming communist. It was a failure because many people died for almost no cause. Also, the Americans kept pushing too far, which led to China invading.

The symbol of death of the old self and rising with new life in christ
wariber [46]

Answer:

The New Testament writings contend that the resurrection was "the beginning of His exalted life" as Christ and Lord. Jesus is the "firstborn of the dead," prōtotokos, the first to be raised from the dead, and thereby acquiring the "special status of the firstborn as the preeminent son and heir.", The Bible tells us that Jesus died and rose again not only so that we could receive forgiveness, but even more so, He died and rose again so that we might have life. It is through His death and resurrection that we receive life. ... Christ died and rose again that we might live through Him - that's salvation.

How did the spread of disease in the Americas contribute to the start of the
soldier1979 [14.2K]

Answer:

These diseases wiped out many of the Indigenous people who lived in the Americas. They had never been exposed to these and were very weak against them. However, Africans had already been exposed to Europeans years prior. They have built up resistance to these diseases. So, Europeans began to ship out Africans to the Americas because they could work and not fall susceptible to European diseases like the Indigenous did.
