A push factor is a wide term, in the sense of what can it be, so a push factor for the people to move away from their country can be safety issues, military action, economic reasons, political reasons etc. All of these factors can ''push'' a person to leave its own country, migrate to another place, and try to start fresh in the new more promising environment.
Examples:
- Push factor for the Syrians in the past few years is the waging war in their country.
- Push factor for the Balkan people to migrate to Western Europe are the economic reasons.
- Push factor from the people of North Korea to try and fled to South Korea or China is the dictatorship in the country.
If members of Congress were truly delegates for their area then each would have continuous contact with their district. For Senators this would be more difficult as there are only 2 per state and for larger states this would require communicating with millions of people across many miles of land to have face-to-face contact. House Representatives are based on the population of a state and therefore House districts are smaller and easier to manage. Currently they best represent the idea of a delegate to the federal government as they are more able to communicate with their district. With advancements in technology the communication piece is now easier to accomplish. However, as delegates they should also offer more voting on issues they will be voting on in Congress. These votes or polling would truly give the representative a delegate role, if they listen and vote based on majority polling.
A "Nation State" is a sovereign nation. A group with definite territory that legitimizes it's right to rule by the fact that it exists. A "City State" is like a nation state but smaller, it's a city and it's territories. ... Cities that were only responsible to themselves, they weren't ruled by any higher power.
This way they can socialize, they can get more stuff to help with stuff like farming, they can learn more. I remember the only bad thing about this is spreading sickness
