of biggest obstacles to improving their lives that the Native Americans faced

impeded from obtaining better standards of living as they were discriminated
against on the basis of their race. This practice greatly prejudiced the Native

This is opposed to the beliefs of her Aunt which believes that Scout should not behave as she is behaving and that she should wear dresses and learn manners like a lady and be more lady-like, as she describes it. Atticus doesn't care about things like this and cares about Scout's upbringing as a person more.
The worship of one god first emerge first of all in the Israelites. They believed in only one god who, in their belief, had made an arragement with them, so if they had followed him, he would gave them their liberty and freedom over other nation. From this religion, Catholic and Islam religion also would be born centuries later.
