Bill was an unshakable vision and seems to be passionate about his work. He is very convincing and his energy is contagious. You get the sense that he's willing to do whatever it takes to achieve this vision and makes you believe he's fearless.

His wife Kathy is extremely strong-willed and perseverant. She seems to be very much oriented to details and efficient when it comes to the logistic of raising the money. She brings a grounding element that makes it easy to trust her.

Hope this helps!

Bill and Kathy Magee are philanthropists with a desire to serve and a willingness to sacrifice. Foregoing lucrative careers in the medical field, they opted to go to the Philippines and perform surgical procedures on children with birth defects. They called their philanthropic organization “Operation Smile” because many of the procedures were in or around the mouth. These medical procedures have helped 150,000 children in fifty countries, many of which discriminate against children with birth defects. Bill and Kathy Magee saw a need, and decided to use their particular skills to address the need.
