Chicano Rights Movement pursue with four goals;
1. Restoration of land
2. Education reforms
3. Right of the farm workers
4. Voting Rights
The Chicano Rights movement which is also known as Chicano civil Rights movement came up at the time of Civil Rights era in 1960s. The Chicano movement largely addressed Mexico's negative ethnic stereotypes in the media and American consciousness.
The Chicano movement also highlighted the differentiation in the Public and Private institutions and due to this in the 20th century they established several organizations to protect themselves from the differentiation.
The protective tariffs allowed Northerners to compete with the British manufacturers. This was opposed by the Southerners. It is because having the tariffs made their European trading partners angry. The tariffs created a rift between the Northerners and the Southerners.
The Toltecs were responsible for establishing a variety of the basics that the rest of their Central Mexicans would follow. However, the Toltecs could not establish the major cities and trading centers that people like the Teotihuacanos and the Aztecs would later establish.
