shutvik [7]

Answer:

The best policy, they claimed, was for the United States to build up its own defenses and avoid antagonizing either side. What was the model for the Roman gladiatorial games?
exis [7]

Answer:

Only a small part of the full structure survived, because a lot of the stone was stolen and so the whole structure was not recorded.

But there is some stuff we know:

- The exterior walls were four stories high, and the first three stories were adorned with half-columns illustrating the three classic architectural styles (Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian).

- Underground mazes, underground structures, corridors, ramps, animal pens  and rooms for prisoners, we all exposed due to the broken floor.

- The top story of the Colosseum was equipped with posts to which were attached a huge awning that would shield the spectators from the hot sun.
