Choose one of the 13 British colonies create a postcard to send to a friend or family member. Remember, you are living in colonial times, so you should write in present tense as if you were really living back then. Postcard Must include: What did you do for work? What was the climate like? Why did you emigrate from Europe? You need to write a minimum of 50 words.

Dear Martha,

How do you fare, my good wife. I am enjoying my time here in The Americas. The Head Chief assigned me to help the poor in getting in safe houses for the war that is to come. And before you beg me to come back I will remind you that I was sent here by George Washington himself to assist him with his needs. I do  wish you were here though my love, they have the most beautiful sunsets here. Although I wish you were here, you wouldn't like it very much, you would say "its too warm for your liking". I pray that you and the children are well. Oh how I miss them. How is my little John and Susan?
