Read the scenario about a formal discussion.
ycow [4]

The correct answers are: 1, 3 and 4.

Jaden would be an effective participant in the group discussion because he has carried out thorough research on the subject, and therefore will be able to answer questions correctly.

He has also reviewed available material, such as teacher's feedback reports from previous science projects.

And at the same time he has researched projects from past science fairs, so he can support his oppinions on their success or failure.

I believe most people WHO are successful at work bent the rules a little to get where they are
anastassius [24]
They have but this tends to be riskier if you are doing the same thing, this is why the average person follows the rules/systemwhich is a safer option. The people who bent the rules are also exceptions while the norm isn't. (I personally like to bend rules)

Read the following sentences from "Day of the Butterfly."
olchik [2.2K]
The tone of the story is in "I did not know what to do. I could not afford to be seen walking with her, and I did note even want to - but on the other hand, the flattery of those humble, hopeful turnings was not lost on me."
This talk about the change of the treatment of the character towards Myra after they had learned that she was sick. It shows that people changed when they learn something about the people around them and regret that they could have shown a better side of them in the beginning.
