The correct answer is B. No man's land

Explanation:

During World War I the use of trenches became popular as these allowed the soldiers to be protected from enemies and especially from artillery. The zones in which trenches were placed near to trenches of the enemy were known as Trench warfare. There most representative example of this was the Western Front that was a set of trenches located in Belgium. Additionally, the area or terrain between trenches was commonly known as "No man's land" as these areas did not belong to any of the parties in the war and also they remained empty as crossing them was dangerous.

The framers abandoned the articles of confederation in favor of an entirely new constitution. Do you agree with their decision?
bezimeni [28]
Yes, I agree with their decision because under the articles of Confederation, the central government had virtually no power. They couldn't enforce federal laws on the states. They couldn't tax and each state could issue it's own money.  It would have wreaked havoc on the economy and it would not have lead to effective government. The articles were just fundamentally flawed.

Why did the British call the Americas the West Indies?
g100num [7]
Along with a number of colonies in North America, the Caribbean formed the heart of England's first overseas empire. The region was also known as the 'West Indies' because when the explorer Christopher Columbus first arrived there in 1492, he believed that he had sailed to the 'Indies', as Asia was then known.
