The United States flourished at that time period. Thanks to the railroads, trade was improved and that increased the wealth and the quality of the economy of the country. The country also began to become more progressive with developed anti-slavery platforms that eventually led to the Civil War and abolition.

The american one stayed mainly between the U.S. and Great Britian, until the French joined.
