The bodies of water that surround North Korea and South Korea are the Sea of Japan, Korea Strait, the East China Sea, the Yellow Sea, and the Bay of Korea.

The half in northern of the Korean peninsula is comprised of the country of North Korea and the southern part makes up the country of South Korea. On the western side of North Korea lies the Bay of Korea, and on the east lies the Sea of Japan.
