Francisco Pizarro was born in Spain in 1476. In 1513 he joined Vasco Nunez de Balboa in his march to the "South Sea". He discovered the Pacific Ocean. In 1532, Him and his brothers conquered Peru. Three years later (1535) he founded the nation's new capital Lima.
