August 8th, 1945, the Soviet Union declares war on Japan by invading with more thana  million troops the Chinese territory but Japanese occupied northeastern territory of Manchuria, which was occupied with little less of 700,000 japanese troops, this was shortly after the bombing of hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the Japanese wanted to continue the war untill the allies assure them there weren´t any treats to the emperor life or soveiragnity.
