jeka57 [31]
"The Tell-Tale Heart" by Edgar Allen Poe is a brilliant story with the theme of "even if you don't tell anyone when you commit a crime, your guilty mind will tear you apart". Near the end of the story, the narrator begins hearing the sound of the dead man's heart beating. This causes the narrator to go crazy enough to confess to the murder to the cops. The narration is very interesting. The story begins with the narrator claiming that he is not crazy. This immediately causes the readers to feel unsettled. Over the course of the story, as the narrator accounts his completely unjustified hatred for the old man with the strange eye, the readers come to realize that the narrator is crazy.  <span />

Read the excerpt below from the poem “miss rosie” by Lucille Clifton and answer the question that follows.
enot [183]
The correct answer is A. I only. Which is simile.

In the excerpt, the lines "<span>wrapped up like garbage" is an example of simile. This is because the word "like" was used to compare a thing into another. So the correct answer would be Simile. The excerpt didn't contain personification or sensory imagery. Just simile. I hope this answer helped you. </span>

When can the way we look at things lead to growth and when can it hold it back?
pav-90 [236]

<u>Answer:</u>

It is very important how we look at things.

<u>Explanation:</u>

Everyone grows and evolves with the experiences in our life. But at times, these experiences hold us back in performing something. May be our family, our fears might alter our decisions in doing something. But it is very important that to move ahead in life, we need to take our instinct very seriously.

Even though we did not have a good experience on something in the past, doesn’t mean it will repeat. We need to have a positive point of view and go ahead. If we look at it positively and with determination, we can defeat our fears and be successful.
