Icarus was Daedalus's son. King Minos, king of Crete, imprisoned the two of them because Daedalus advised Princess Ariadne to give Theseus the that helped him come out of the Labyrinth (which Daedalus created himself for Minos to imprison the mythical creature named the Minotaur so enemies who are trapped in the maze get killed). Later on, Daedalus created wings for him and his son so they could escape. When they managed to free themselves from the prison, Icarus became hyper of his freedom and flight. When his wings started to melt, he fell into the ocean from hundreds of feet high and drowned. The Icarian Sea was named after him with the island next to it called Icaria.

Which sentence contains a transitive verb?
Sonja [21]

Answer:

A- Robert polished his saddle.

Explanation:

If you take out "his saddle", the sentence does not make sense. Taking out "for the wagon", the sentence will still make sense. If you can take out the word(s) that the verb is applying to (what is Robert doing, he's polishing his saddle), and if the sentence does not make sense, then it is a transitive verb.
