I think that two best thesis statements for Romeo and Juliet would be B and E.  I say that because, Romeo and Juliet are from different tribes or families and they love each other.  There is conflict and discord, because the two  different families have contempt and hate for each other.  Since the two families are causing so much opposition trouble for the two lovers(Romeo and Juliet)they devise a plan to spend time with each other secretly, and with miscommunication they both tragically die.  Juliet thinks that Romeo is dead so she commits suicide, and Romeo realizing that Juliet is also dead, takes his life also.  Hope this helps.  Please mark as brainliest if right, please.  THX!!!

Excerpt from The Value of Volunteering
lorasvet [3.4K]

Answer:

Giving back to the community through volunteering is important and  satisfying

Explanation:

A thesis statement or topic should be some claim, an idea. It should not include personal pronouns and nouns, apart from some famous persons, politicians, scientists, writer etc. The topic should be such that it gives a useful insight into what is going to be the content of the theses or persuasive essay.

The first, second and fourth options are incorrect because they are not claims or ideas and they include pronouns and nouns which are not famous.

9. What is a clause?
kirill115 [55]

Answer:

b

Explanation:

A clause is the part of a sentence that necessarily includes a verb to express the action of the sentence and also a subject that performs that action. While the verb is always explicitly states, the subject can be understood and not mentioned in the written sentence.

A clause, however, does not always make sense on its one. An independent clause can indeed stand alone as a sentence, but a dependent clause only forms part of a sentence and does no make sense by itself.
