Lucy should include next a few lines of dialogue between the writer and Grandma June.</em> In the paragraph presented in the question Lucy narrates her point of view of the events that are occurring in front of her eyes. While the paragraph is well written and gives relevant information to the reader, the adding of a few lines of a dialogue between the characters would be helpful. The use of dialogues when writing help the readers to get to know the character's intentions, emotions and actions while inducing aspects of reality to the text, by using normal conversations the characters would have.
