The Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

The FDA is responsible for reviewing over-the-counter (OTC) products used for health purposes, to ensure that the ingredients used are "generally recognized as safe and effective" (or GRASE in industry jargon).  In recent years, the FDA also was asked to deal with various labels and claims placed on sunscreen and sunblock products.

Varvara68 [4.7K]

Answer:

Salt and Gold

Explanation:

This was often referred to as the GOLD-SALT trade. The West African kingdoms have an abundance of golds.

This is evident in Ghana till the present moment and Mali during the time of Mansa Musa in the 14th century.

On the other hand, the Arab merchants have abundant salt for trading due to their nearness to the sea.

Hence, the right answer, in this case, is the trade was primarily based on SALT and GOLD.

Soviet leader nikita krushchev believed that
olga_2 [115]

Answer:

Hope this helps

Explanation:

Nikita Khrushchev (1894-1971) led the Soviet Union during the height of the Cold War, serving as premier from 1958 to 1964. Though he largely pursued a policy of peaceful coexistence with the West, the Cuban Missile Crisis began after he positioned nuclear weapons 90 miles from Florida. At home, he initiated a process of “de-Stalinization” that made Soviet society less repressive. Yet Khrushchev could be authoritarian in his own right, crushing a revolt in Hungary and approving the construction of the Berlin Wall. Known for his colorful speeches, he once took off and brandished his shoe at the United Nations.

How does the Slavery Grievance describe slavery?
Rus_ich [418]

The declaration of independence included a list of grievances. In one of this, Thomas Jefferson wrote about the abomination that was slavery and condemned it. The Grievance describes slavery as disgraceful, miserable, and as a part of the most disgusting business.

In the Grievance, Jefferson also blames slavery upon King George III.  He blames the King for introducing slavery into the Americas. Jefferson wrote: "Those disgraceful practices are the Warfare of the Christian King of Great Britain".
