What would it be like to see the events of the code of Hammurabi through the eyes of someone who lived back then?

It would probably be more gruesome compared to living today in Western society. Mostly due to the fact that the code of Hammurabi had qutie strict punishments in place and enforced them with great zeal when they had to be enforced. For that reason, seing all the different laws being enforced was probably very hard to watch.

This article discusses different types of stress. What are some negative consequences that are associated with chronic stress? (
True [87]

Chronic Stress is the organism's response to emotional pressure that has been sustained for a prolonged period of time. The individual enters a state in which it feels helpless as it considers that it has little to no control over the situations that generate stress.

When under stress, the organism segregates cortisol, also known as "stress hormones".<em> A long-term exposure to this hormone leads to negative effects (consequences) such as</em>:

  • <u>High Blood Pressure</u>, which may lead to heart disease
  • <u>Muscle Damage</u>
  • <u>Suppression of the immune system</u>, which make the individual more vulnerable to diseases.

According to Section 402A of the Restatement of Torts, Second, one who sells any product in a defective condition unreasonably d
vodka [1.7K]

Answer:

A product that is safe when delivered is subsequently mishandled or changed.

Explanation:

This section of the Restatement of Torts explains how the seller of a good can't be held accountable of a safe delivered product if it is subsequently mishandled or changed. This protects that seller of any legal liability of, according to the example, physical harm caused to the ultimate user or consumer. To add an example: if a perfectly fine pizza is delivered but the consumer claims that it's not, the delivery won't be made accountable (as long they can prove that it was, in fact, perfect when delivered).

Negative correlations are statistical relationships that go in opposite directions. In other words, they represent a less = more, or more = less relationship. In the example: less stress = more happiness.

It's important to recognise that correlation is <u>NOT</u> the same as causation, so answer <u>b</u> would be <u>incorrect</u>.
