To help him in his struggle with the Catholic Church, Henry needed help from Protestants. He split away from Rome because he wanted to divorce Catherine of Aragon and marry Anne Boleyn. The Act of Supremacy made him head of the Church in England.
It was Marshall Plan where the United States gave financial
aid to Europe to help them in recovering from the damages caused during World
War II. Apart from that they hope to
open trade, upgrade Europe’s industry and block Communism from spreading in
Europe.
