Answer:

By 1870, US train travel changed as the Transcontinental Railroad was inaugurated.

Explanation:

The First Transcontinental Railroad is a name for the rail link between Omaha and Sacramento. Since May 11, 1869, the 3069 kilometer route has connected the settlement areas on the Missouri River with California.

The First Transcontinental Railroad made it possible for the first time to have an extensive, five-state east-west rail link within the United States and is therefore considered an important milestone in the history of the railroad in North America.

Why couldn’t hitler unite Germany with Austria like he wanted
gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

Modern-day Austria and Germany were united until 1866: their predecessors were part of the Holy Roman Empire and the German Confederation until the unification of German states under Prussia in 1871, which excluded Austria. In 1918 after the end of World War I, Austria renamed itself the Republic of German-Austria in an attempt for union with Germany but this was forbidden by the Treaty of Saint-Germain-en-Laye (1919). In 1938, the Third Reich, led by Austrian-born Adolf Hitler, annexed Austria in the Anschluss.
