Answer:

the near-extinction of the beaver population

Explanation:

Most of the mountain men eventually found into jobs as wagon train guides, Army Scouts,  and settlers through the lands which they had helped open up. This all happened because of the silk trade and very much because of the quick collapse of the  beaver-based fur trade in North America.

Describe that action of Muhammad and his followers during the first Jihad?
Natasha_Volkova [10]

the hijra, Muhammad's journey from Mecca to Medina in the year 622. It is after this event that jihad begins to become an issue.  The new Muslim emigrants to Medina needed a way to maintain their livelihood. They pursued the most expedient course, and began raiding the caravans of the Meccans.   In the raids the Muslims were taking the offensive. Muhammad cannot have failed to realize that, even if the raids were only slightly successful, the Meccans were bound to attempt reprisals. In these little raids, then, he was deliberately challenging and provoking the Meccans. In our peace-conscious age it is difficult to understand how a religious leader could thus engage in offensive war and become almost an aggressor.

How did the Nazi Soviet Pact help advance Stalin's goals for the Soviet Union?
bulgar [2K]
Joseph  Stalin's goal was to extend the empire of the Soviet Union. He also hoped to guarantee security, to spread communism beyond the Union, secure a position in the world affair and create an empire. Meanwhile, the Nazi-Soviet Pact was an agreement between the Soviet Union and Germany, whose objective was to pledge a non-belligerent force towards each other. This advanced the goal of Joseph Stalin because the Nazi-Soviet Pact does not interfere with the affairs of the different parties.
