Answer: d. A government's power comes from the people.

Details/context:

The Declaration of the Rights of Man and the Citizen is a fundamental document of the French Revolution, which was written by Abbé Sieyès and the Marquis de Lafayette. Abbé Sieyès was a prominent clergyman in France who supported the rights of the common people. The Marquis de Lafayette was a member of the nobility who had fought in America's war for independence against Britain. Their document was written in consultation with Thomas Jefferson of the United States, who had drafted the Declaration of Independence.

The Declaration of the Rights of Man and Citizen was approved by the National Assembly of France on August 26, 1789, in the early months of the French Revolution. King Louis XVI approved the text on October 5, 1789, pushed much to do so by the Marquis de Lafayette, and with little choice at that time but to go along with changes that were happening due to the Revolution.

The French Revolution was motivated by Enlightenment reasoning and declared freedom of religion, so answer a is not correct.

The French Revolution was not about women's rights - so answer b about women having the right to vote is incorrect. Some women spoke out in attempts to gain equal rights to men, such as Olympe de Gouges , who wrote A Declaration of the Rights of Woman and the Female Citizen (1791), but her perspective was not heeded at that time. In fact, she was executed by guillotine during the Reign of Terror in 1793 because she was considered an opponent of the Revolutionary government.

The Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen incorporated concepts from several Enlightenment thinkers, such as Locke, Montesquieu, Voltaire and Rousseau. Rousseau had advocated direct democracy, but other Enlightenment political theorists had proposed more of a representative government format.

23: List the different types of radiation according to wavelength? Please put them in the order of longest wavelength to shortes
Butoxors [25]

Explanation:

Radiation means ‘energy that is transported from one spot to another without the need of direct contact between the two locations’, Light in each carries a different amount of energy, this is what we call electromagnetic radiation or electromagnetic waves. Gamma rays are the most energetic, and radio is the least.

In order from longest to shortes wavelenghts we have:

 • Radio waves: they are made by various types of transmitters, given off by stars, sparks, and lightning, they have the lowest frequencies (longest wavelenghts) in the electromagnetic spectrum and are used mainly for communications.
 • Microwaves: they are extremely high-frequency radio waves (Their wavelength is usually a couple of centimeters) made by various types of transmitters.
 • Infra-red waves: they are just below visible red light in the electromagnetic spectrum, they're given off by hot objects.
 • Visible lights is the tiny part of the electromagnetic spectrum our eyes can detect.
 • Ultra-Violet: this light is given off by the Sun in large quantities. We call it "UV" for short and can also be used to kill microbes.
 • X-rays: they are very high-frequency waves that carry a lot of energy. They will pass through most substances, and this makes them useful in medicine and industry to see inside things.
 • Gamma rays: they are given off by stars and by some radioactive substances. They are extremely high-frequency waves (the shortest wavelength) and carry a large amount of energy. They pass through most materials.

In the image, I annexed you can see the electromagnetic spectrum with the type of radiations from the shortest to the longest wavelengths.

I hope you find this information useful and interesting! Good luck!

Distribution of thermal energy across latitudes involves interaction between the hydrosphere and what other sphere
Elodia [21]

The answer is atmosphere. In atmosphere air is fluid like the hydrosphere and which can then go around with heat energy across great distances (latitudes) Heat can be transferred between air and water easily. Atmosphere Definition is vertical extension 10,000km (50% mass < 6km; 48% mass < 26km). Composition of atmosphere are N, O, Ar, variable gases (water vapor, carbon dioxide, ozone.
