The plantation system brought about the fact that many slaves were needed to help 'run' (work in) the plantations, and soon, there were more african americans than whites in certain southern states.

The plantation system brought in slaves which made the north and south mad at each other and then there was a debate about getting Texas from Mexico because it might turn into a slave state and some people didn't want that. I believe that's the answer but I'm not completely sure if that's the answer your teacher is looking for.

American leaders liked the ideas of John Locke?
Vedmedyk [2.9K]

Answer:

We can say they liked his ideas, as Thomas Jefferson included some of them in the Declaration of Independence. His ideas influenced the ideas of Enlightenment, but also the ideas of Founding Fathers.

Explanation:

When Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence he used the ideas of John Locke. The idea of life and liberty were among those ideas that Jefferson included in the final text. That is one of the main reasons why we can say that John Locke's ideas were definitely liked by American leaders.

The modern United States regime shares power between the states and national government, makin it an example of which type of sy
Alisiya [41]

The correct answer is - federal system.

The United States are a country in which the federal system is the one in place. This system practically means that the power is shared between the central government and the federal states. The central government is still the dominant center of power, but the federal states also are able to function in a manner they want to, to a certain level of course. The reason why is this type of power in force in the United States is mainly because the country has become what it is with the unification of the states. There's 52 federal states in the United States, and most of them were self governed in big portion of the American history, so when they decided to create one big country, the condition was that they still have power in the federal states.
