The correct answer is option A) "It put a military government in place.". The Massachusetts Government Act signed on May 20, 1774 had different purposes for this colonial state. By that time Massachusetts was a colony of England and the king believed that a military government was necessary to keep the "bullies" in place, since Massachusetts had its own democratic elections and other liberties. The Act put and end to these liberties and put a military government in place.

(make sure to thank me)

The treaty of Versailles and the economic consequences of its terms were a significant concern and added to Germany's humiliation. It also forced Germany to pay a huge sum in reparations, which it couldn't afford setting it back behind every other nation during that time.

Why is getting a bill through Congress so difficult and complicated?
Elena L [17]
Every single bill that is presented to the House or Senate is referred to a committee, which then refers the bill to an subcommittee. The subcommittees hold hearings and conduct research and investigations into the bill and its details. Once the committee agrees upon it then referred back to the House for debate and passage. On the floor of the House, members who oppose the bill may try to stop the bill from being passed in a number of ways. which would discourage continued pursuit of the bill, or by adding completely unrelated and completely undesirable amendments that may force the President to veto the bill
