i believe you should answer: disagree

This question is often asked during job application process to find out whether the candidate can be a team player or not.

Being skeptical under some circumstances is beneficial. But it is best that you trust your co-workers ability in order to maintain an efficient work flow. Because of this, answering disagree would most likely make you seen more favorable by the employer.

Direct materials (5,000 units × $1)           $5,000

Direct labor (5,000 units × $10)               $50,000

Variable manufacturing overhead

Fixed manufacturing overhead              $60,000           $110,000 (5,000 units  × $22)

Total                                                        $140,000                $110,000

Since in buy decision, the cost is minimum. So, the company should accept this offer

With the increased usage of cell phone services, what should we expect to have happened to the price elasticity of demand for la
adell [148]

Answer:

It has become more price inelastic

Explanation:

Elasticity of demand for any good can be defined as degree of responsiveness of any good with respect to change in demand factors like price or income. Hence it signifies consumer sentiments as how will the goods demand change when there is change in price.

Highly elastic goods mean that with slight change in price there is large change in demand of good.

Highly inelastic goods mean any change in demand factor like income, price will not affect the demand of the goods.

Now going for landlines telephone. With the widespread use of mobiles phones, usage of landline phones has decreased significantly. Hence any change in price for landlines is not going to affect it demand as very few people are using it.

Using the above mentioned rational we can say that It has become more price inelastic is the most suitable answer.

Based on the Management in Action case, if an employee asks Korey for time off to take care of a sick child, Korey may believe t
yaroslaw [1]

Korey's perceptual bias is the fundamental attribution.

Fundamental attribution occurs if an individual tries to explain the behavior of another person based on his/her personality, rather than based on the situation.

This type of bias is shown by Korey because he:

  • Thinks the employee is lazy, which is related to personality features.
  • He does not consider the situation or the fact the employee needs time to take care of the child, and it is not just avoiding work.

gtnhenbr [62]

Answer:

(1)

cash       47,300 debit

acc dep  41,000 debit

     equipment            77,200 credit

gain at disposal     11, 100 credit

(2)

cash       36,200 debit

acc dep  41,000 debit

     equipment            77,200 credit

(3)

cash                   31,100 debit

loss at disposal   5,100 debit

acc dep             41,000 debit

     equipment            77,200 credit

Explanation:

book value: historic cost - accumulated depreciation

77,200 - 41,000 = 36,200

Now we compare the book value with the different sales values:

(1) 47,300 - 36,200 = 11,100 gain

(2) 36,200 - 36,200 = zero

(3) 31,100 - 36,200 = 5,100 loss

for the journal entry, in all cases we debit the cash collected

the depreciation and credit the asset.

the nwe will postthe gain or loss an disposal accordingly
