Somewhat true, they dont want someone who doesnt pay attention to their surroundings but they also dont want people who focus too much on their co workers rather than doing their jobs.

This question is often asked during job application process to find out whether the candidate can be a team player or not.

Being skeptical under some circumstances is beneficial. But it is best that you trust your co-workers ability in order to maintain an efficient work flow. Because of this, answering disagree would most likely make you seen more favorable by the employer.
