Answer:

C.They allowed for laws to remain constant in spite of leadership.

Explanation:

Bureaucracies made the nation states to develop the same all through the territory of the nation, laws were allowed to reach the furthest places of the empires in order to have a unity or a certain similitude where justice and laws would be the same all over the state, efficient bureaucracy helped develop nation states and allowed laws to remain constant no matter who was in charge.

Read the article and write one page arguing whether you think the European
Alexxx [7]

Answer:

I believe that The European Union is a good thing because in times of war, the countries most likely will not go to war against each other, and also because it allows the countries in the EU to become iron allies,  which could prove useful in both war and times of hardship. Speaking of hardship, if any of the countries in the EU is faced with hardship or a hard decision, that country can ask the other countries in the European Union for help or for advice. And, if anybody in one of the nations within the EU travels to another country that is in the EU can use the same form of money, without the worry of having to convert it to the type of money that is used there, because every country in the European Union uses the same type of currency, the euro. For instance, if someone in, say, France, travels to maybe Greece for vacation, then that person could use the same form of money in Greece as used in France, which is a big worry taken off the mind. Plus, it gives the countries reasons why not to go to war over each other, and so they countries probably won't go to war against each other for a small reason, such as a steel mine or the sort. The European Union lets the citizens of the countries in the EU have freedom and human dignity, which is more than most countries have to offer to their citizens. The EU is a surprisingly good method of maintaining peace in the European countries, or, at least for the ones in the EU, such as Belgium, Germany, Greece, or Italy. So, in conclusion, I believe that the European Union is a good thing, for many reasons.

The Himalayan mountains by India, Nepal and China are the best example of this.
marysya [2.9K]

Answer:

The Himalayan Mountains by India, Nepal, and China are the best example of a convergent plate boundary.

Explanation:

The Himalayan Mountains are the highest mountain range in the world, but also the most massive one. It acts as a natural boundary between Southern, Southeastern, Eastern, Central, and Southwestern Asia. This mountain range is a relatively young one (geologically speaking), and it has formed because of the collision between the Indian and Eurasian tectonic plates.

When India diverged from Gondwana, it started to move toward Eurasia. After tens of millions of years, the Indian plate hit the Eurasian plate from the south, and with both of the plates being continental and having a boundary with their continental parts, they created a convergent plate boundary. The pressure between the plates has resulted in lifting up the crust, gradually creating a huge mountain range.

URGENT PLEASE HELP
Nat2105 [25]

Answer:

They have reduced the river's force to almost nothing by the time it finally empties into the sea.

Explanation:

The Colorado River is one of the biggest rivers in North America. It runs mostly through the United States and little through Mexico where it ends its flow and empties into the sea. This river has been the subject of heavy exploitation by humans, and for that purpose, numerous dams have been built on it.

The number of dams is so high and the water is used at such a high rate that the river barely has any water as it empties into the sea. As this river runs mostly through arid and semi-arid areas that are also used for agriculture, its waters are heavily used for irrigation, leaving less and less water in the river as it gets closer to its endpoint. The dams are helping a lot in the economies of the states through which the Colorado River runs but the effect on the ecosystem of the river has been devastating.
