The answer is A: <em>Phonology</em>.  In<em> Linguistics</em>, Phonology refers to the study of sounds in languages. Another meaning for Phonology is the <em>phonological</em> <em>system of a language</em>, describing how a sound functions.  <em>Syntax</em> refers to how the words are arranged grammaticaly in a sentence. <em>Morphology</em> is the study of the form of words and phrases. It analyzes the parts and structure of words.

Well it depends on how large the pages are, and how large the printing is. Guide words are the words at the top of the left and right pages that indicate what the first and last word is. For example on the first page (the left) it would have the very first word on that page up top. Then on the second it would have the very last word. So like I said, it depends on how large the print and pages are.
