Answer:

It buys you time and provides a second outlet for the problem guest.

Explanation:

Often when a professional encounters a non-cooperative guest, he or she must employ strategies that control the troubled guest and maintain the safety of the professional and other guests. The best strategy in this case is to call for assistance. With the assistance the professional can take time to try to solve the problem of the host, and can offer a second exit so that the host becomes cooperative and no longer causes problems.

Which statement is true about independent clauses? They are connected by a coordinating conjunction. They have a subject but do
Natasha_Volkova [10]
Well, let's see... I don't know what a coordinating conjunction is off the top of my head, but I know B isn't the answer, since 'independent' means 'highly capable of handling oneself'. C certainly isn't the answer, simply because you can see by this answer they obviously do combine with a dependent clause from time to time. That leaves us with D and A, which both leave the same term. However, I do believe I can use the word preceding conjunction, which is coordinating, to realize that 'and,' 'but,' and 'or' are coordinating conjunctions. Seriously, D cannot be the answer because not every sentence starts with any of those. So your answer is A.

What is a noun?

In a sentence, a noun is a word that refers to a specific person, place, thing, or animal. Depending on the context, a noun may serve as a subject, direct object, indirect object, subject complement, object complement, appositive, adjective, or adverb.
