For many people, unexpected bills can throw a monkey wrench into the best-planned budgets. Imagine you have planned out your mon

thly budget and it appears you will have 200 dollars left for savings at the end of the month. However, your car breaks down unexpectedly and it will cost 500 dollars to replace the alternator.
Write out as many options as you can think of to take care of the car repair (you can even suggest not making the repair right away, but then you need to explain how you will get to class and anywhere else you need to go).

One option would be to put the repair on a credit card and delay payment. You could also ask to borrow the additional money needed from a friend or a family member. You could take public transportation until you have saved enough money to fix your car but this won't be without costs of its own. Lastly you could try and find a friend or family member who is a mechanic and would be willing to do the repair for less money.

To what extent did the Warren Court influence political and social issues between 1954 and 1968?
e-lub [12.9K]

The Warren Court refers to the Supreme Court of the U.S. during the period when Earl Warren served as Chief Justice. Warren replaced the deceased Fred M. Vinson as Chief Justice in 1953, and Warren remained in office until he retired in 1969. Warren was succeeded as Chief Justice by Warren Burger.

Warren led a liberal majority that used judicial power in dramatic fashion, to the consternation of conservative opponents. The Warren Court expanded civil rights, civil liberties, judicial power, and the federal power in dramatic ways.

The court was both applauded and criticized for bringing an end to racial segregation in the United States, incorporating the Bill of Rights, i.e. including it in the 14th Amendment Due Process clause, and ending officially sanctioned voluntary prayer in public schools. The period is recognized as the highest point in judicial power that has receded ever since, but with a substantial continuing impact.

Prominent members of the Court during the Warren era besides the Chief Justice included Justices William J. Brennan, Jr., William O. Douglas, Hugo Black, Felix Frankfurter, and John Marshall Harlan II

That x-intercept is where the line passes through the x axis (the horizontal line) and the y-intercept is where the the line passes through the y axis (the vertical line).

The slope is kind of like how slanted the line is. The slope is 2 because for every 1 point the goes horizontally, it goes 2 points vertically.

In case you have np idea what on earth I just said the answer is 2.
