Write an algebraic expression for the given word expression:
4.7 less than a number k

You have to switch it around if it's subtraction

Answer 2

The words less than means we are subtracting 4.7 from something.

And the variable k is all that we are given so the algebraic expression for the given word expression is..

k - 4.7
