Which technology was NOT used during WWI?
Simora [160]

Answer:

B. Atomic Weapons

Explanation:

Tanks were used near the end of WW1, with tanks such as the Renault FT, Mark 5, and the German A7Vs. Atomic weapons weren't even a concept back then. Gas was used since 1915, invented by a German scientist trying to develop a pesticide, and Machine guns such as the Vickers or MG08 were common in the trenches.

87 years ago, the Founding Fathers created a brand new country here based on the idea that everyone is equal. Now, we are at war with ourselves, and this war is testing whether that kind of country can survive. A battle of this war was fought right here where we are standing. We are here today to dedicate a part of this battlefield as a cemetery for the soldiers that died here. This is the right thing to do. There is no way that we can ever bless this ground today more than the soldiers that died here already have. We can’t even come close. No one is going to care or remember the words we say here, but no one can ever forget what those soldiers did here. It’s up to the rest of us that are still alive to dedicate ourselves to finishing what these soldiers have started. It’s up to us to dedicate ourselves to saving the country, and remind ourselves that people have died for this cause. We have to promise that the soldiers here did not die for nothing. We have to promise that this country, under God, will be free again. We have to promise that a country that is made up of the people, was created by the people, and made to serve the people can exist in this world.

Mr.Oliver orders his groceries online and has them delivered to his house. His bill is $175. He has a coupon for 10% off and pla
mr Goodwill [35]

The total price including the discount and the tip is $189

Solution:

Given:

Bill Amount = \$175

Coupon = 10\%

So, Discount will be \frac{(175\times10)}{100} = \$17.50

Discounted price = 175-17.50 = \$157.50

Mr. Oliver plans to give delivery driver a tip of 20\%

Now, Bill (After reducing discount) = \$157.50

Tip = 20\%

Tip Amount = \frac{(157.50\times20)}{100} = \$31.50

Now add that tip amount,

Total Price = 157.50 + 31.50=\$189

Steps to find the discounted price:

Step 1: Consider the rate of discount

Step 2: Find the actual discount by multiplying the discount rate by the original amount

Step 3: Subtract the actual discount from the original amount to find the discounted price.

Answer:

The populist moment of 2016 drove multiple academic disciplines together in a

Kierkegaardian way. They realized that complacently living life forward in liberal

greater single civic/creedal identity—highlighted an enduring tension between two ready

components in sports: gamesmanship (the tribal reality of winning, mostly through

professionalism) and sportsmanship (the rule-of-law ideal of playing well, ideally through

amateurism). American football’s unique provenance as a highly commercial and physical

game within higher education’s ideals of intellectual and noncommercial educational

excellence, offers a unique study of the power of gamesmanship to shape sportsmanship while

illuminating its realistic and historic contained boundaries. This study anchors the
