The answer would be: Plasmas are made up of cation-anion pairs, but solids are not.
There are 4 kinds of fundamental state of matter: solid, gas, liquid and plasma. Plasma is not known by many people because it did not exist naturally.
Plasma is made of ionized atom nucleus(positive) and electrons(negative) that. The movement of the charged particle could result in a magnetic field like lightning.
