If you add the whole number to the whole number part of the mixed number, and then add the fraction from the mixed number on to the end of that,  you get a new mixed number which is your answer.

Anyone? please help asap i really want to finish this
den301095 [7]

Step-by-step explanation:

oh, come on ! one is finding the inequality itself, the other is solving it. you don't know the difference of that ?

if so, please let me know, what you don't understand of the following explanations, so that I can add whatever is necessary.

you know, what an equality (ahem, equation) is ?

both, equations and inequalities are like a balancing scale with usual different things on the two pans left and right.

an equation is when both sides are in balance. their weight is equal.

an inequality is, when one side is heavier than the other.

and you know, what a variable is ? it is a kind of placeholder for actual values. it is like keeping some space open on the scale pan with a list of conditions for what kind of things you can put in that open space, so that the status of the scale stays unchanged.

A

twenty less than a number is at least 15

looks mathematically

x - 20 >= 15 (larger or equal = "at least")

B

x - 20 >= 15

x >= 35

so, this is true for

{x € R | x >= 35}

or

{x € R | x = 35 or x > 35}

so, this is true for all real values of x that are at least 35.

If Harriet rolls a number cube 39 times,how many times can she expect to roll a 3 or a 4?
hram777 [196]
Usually, cubes have 6 sides on them, so the chances of first rolling either 3 or a 4 is 1/3th of a chance. Then, if she rolls it 39 times, I'd do 1/3 of 39, and get 13. She can expect 13 times to roll a 3 or a 4.

Denis, Vera, and Yash are rock climbers. Yash is connected to Vera by a
grin007 [14]

Answer:

33.14\°

Step-by-step explanation:

Let

Y ----> field of vision that Yash's camera would need

we know that

Applying the law of sines

\frac{sin(Y)}{25}=\frac{sin(41\°)}{30}

Solve for sin(Y)

sin(Y)=\frac{sin(41\°)}{30}(25)

Y=sin^{-1}[\frac{sin(41\°)}{30}(25)]

Y=33.14\°

In a relay race, Jill runs 250 meters in 1.5 minutes. She hands the baton to John, who walks for 3 minutes at a rate of 70 meter
disa [49]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  560 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Jill's distance is given as 250 m.

John's distance can be computed as ...

  distance = speed × time = (70 m/min)(3 min) = 210 m

Suzy's distance is given as 100 m.

Then the total distance is ...

  250 m + 210 m + 100 m = 560 m

The distance traveled is 560 m in this relay.
