I'm assuming this is The Jungle Book.... Shere Khan would probably have a high place in the jungle if he respected the laws. He was powerful but... rouge. If he had abide by the laws, he would have been liked more. The author wants the reader to see that just because you are big or strong or popular, doesn't give you a right to break rules/laws.
BTW its only 16 points xD

Shere Khan is a character in the book The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling. Shere Khan is a strong and powerful tiger that terrorizes the other animals in the jungle. His main problem is that he believes himself to be superior to other animals and does not respect the law of the jungle. By endangering the order of this environment, Shere Khan is vulnerable, as he is not appreciated by his fellow animals and thus is likely to be betrayed and left alone. Most likely, the author wants us to understand that being accepted and having people who care for you is much more important than being powerful or dominant.

Murljashka [212]

Answer:

Some states only allow white-owned landowners to vote, while others do not define race, or directly protect the rights of people in any voting race. Freed slaves could vote in four states. Women were severely barred from voting, as were men without property.

Which source is most likely to accurate?
Grace [21]

The correct answer is: "a handbook of government statistics ".

Government statistics are collected using objective measurament techniques and published by an official source.

The other three sources are not official, and probably, not objective as well. On the first hand, the information contained in a press realease from a company or in a claim in a political commercial, is subjected to the profit-maximization interests of a private company. On the other hand, a blog entry is very likely biased by the subjective opinion of its author.

Eighteen-year-old Gisela stopped attending her church youth group and Sunday services, and, contrary to her conservative parents
vodomira [7]

The correct answer would be, Identity Crisis.

According to Erikson, Gisela is experiencing the Identity Crisis.

Explanation:

According to Erikson's Psychosocial stages of development states that the personality of a person from infancy to adulthood develops in eight stages. These stages are as follows:

 • Trust vs Mistrust
 • Autonomy vs Shame/Doubt
 • Initiative vs Guilt
 • Industry vs Inferiority
 • Identity vs Role Confusion
 • Intimacy vs Isolation
 • Generativity vs Stagnation
 • Integrity vs Despair

Identity Crisis is the stage in human development during which the person is most insecure about his identity. A person's aims or roles in society changes during this stage which create an uncertainty and confusion about the person's sense of identity. This happens especially when the person is in mid adolescence.

So when Gisela stopped attending the church and ecame immersed in Liberal political movement and then again joined the church, she is actually passing through the Identity Crisis stage of Development.
