The correct answer is - False.

Peru is located northwest of Uruguay. Peru is situated in the western part of the continent, while Uruguay is in the southeastern part. These two countries do not share a border, and the shortest distance between them is by passing through the the countries of Bolivia and Argentine. Peru is a predominantly mountainous country, and it has access to the Pacific Ocean, while Uruguay is mostly a lowland country, and it has access to the Atlantic Ocean.

We live in diverse societies. It is normal for people to disagree about many
babymother [125]

Answer:

The correct answer is D. Rule of law.

Explanation:

The rule of law is a set of restrictions on the state's exercise of power over its own citizens, but also a set of obligations that each citizen has as a member of society. It means, among other things, that public power is exercised on the basis of law and that there are constitutional guarantees that set limits on the state's use of force, and on the liberties and rights of individuals, in order not to harm each other.

Therefore, this principle works as a framework of conduct that regulates life in society, preventing differences between individuals from turning into serious conflicts, and punishing with criminal law those behaviors harmful to this principle.

Where would you be most likely to find a freshet?
valentinak56 [21]

The freshet is basically a flood that occurs because of heavy rainfall or because of the melting of a snow.

This type of flooding is most common in the valleys of the larger rivers, especially the ones that start their flow high in the mountains.

The large rivers have much more water, and they also have lot of tributaries, so when there's a heavy rainfall they receive enormous amounts of water, which easily causes a flood.

Also, when the snow melts, lot of water is released from it, and most of that water gets into the river, or first in its tributaries and that in it, so there's a high possibility of a big flood occurring suddenly.
