In order to set emphasize a certain section of your artwork, you can set brighter colors in the area. If you don't want lighter colors, then you can add a larger variety of colors. Deepen the amount of detail you put into it and even it out along the entire piece. There are several ways to do this, you just have to find whatever matches up with your art. Be as creative as possible and remember, there is no limit to what you can do.
