neonofarm [45]

Answer:

Idiomatic

Explanation:

Idiomatic equivalence is a term used to refer to words or phrases that are used in a country, but with the meaning related to the culture of the country and not the actual meaning of the word, such as "break the leg" that is used in the United States as a wish of good luck. A failure in idiomatic equivalence occurs when a foreign person does not know the cultural meaning of the word or phrase and understands the word with its literal meaning, causing much confusion, as can be seen in the question above.

A good first aider must possess the following characteristics except
vlada-n [284]

Answer:

A. glandsome

Explanation:

The reason I think this is the correct option is because firstly a first aider should be gentle so the person doesn't feel that much pain. And they also should be watchful in case something went wrong. And lastly they should be a bit quick.

Glandsome means being cheerful. In my opinion the first aider should be calm so the person their aiding doesn't worry too much. And I don't feel like its necessary for them to be cheerful.

I hope this helped :)
