White supremacy is the racial belief that white people are superior to others and therefore must be dominant over them. Pseudo scientific arguments and Scientific Racism. It is an ideology that also perpetuates and maintains the social and political domination of the whites. Ku Klux clan is such an organization. Also known as KKK, it is an American white supremacist hate group. It also propagates white nationalism, Anti-immigration calls for the purification of American society.

The first clan existed in the southern United States in the late 1860s and died during the 1870s. The second clan founded in Georgia in 1915, flourished around the US spread to Urban Areas in Midwest and West.

The main cause for the revival of Klan was D.W Griffith's film The Birth of Nation. it mythologized the first Klan. The movie tried to maintain white supremacy and opposed Jews and Catholics, Political power of the pope and Catholic church. Its funds came by selling costumes to its members. To intimidate others the members burned Cross and mass parades.
