Y=90 degrees as it’s a right angle and if you where to add 60 and 90 it would be 150 degrees taken away from 180 as all triangles angles adds up to 180 degrees hope this helps

Can someone help me with this? I am a little confused
arsen [322]
28 .to explain they want to know the missing side and the triangles are equal to each-other just one is projected smaller than the other . So the one with 16 16 and 24 is the smaller one . The difference between 24-16 is 8 . And In the bigger one the sides 20 and 20 where given so since the smaller one is equal to the bigger one you just do 20+8=28

\quad \huge \quad \quad \boxed{ \tt \:Answer }

\qquad \tt \rightarrow \: Add \:\: -6 \hat i - 6\hat j \:\:with \:\; Vector \:\; c

____________________________________

\large \tt Solution  \: :

Vector d can be represented as :

\qquad \tt \rightarrow \:  - 2 \hat i - 2 \hat j

Vector c can be represented as :

\qquad \tt \rightarrow \:  4 \hat i + 4\hat j

we have to create vector d from vector c

So, let's assume a vector x, such that sum of vector x and vector c equals to vector d

\qquad \tt \rightarrow \: x + ( 4 \hat i + 4 \hat j) =  - 2 \hat i  - 2 \hat j

\qquad \tt \rightarrow \: x  = -  ( 4 \hat i + 4 \hat j)   - 2 \hat i  - 2 \hat j

\qquad \tt \rightarrow \: x  = (-   4 \hat i  - 2 \hat  i)  + (  - 4 \hat j  - 2 \hat j)

\qquad \tt \rightarrow \: x  = - 6 \hat  i    -6 \hat j

Henceforth, in order to get vector d, we need to add (-6i - 6j) in vector c

A box of Munchkins contains chocolate and glazed donut holes. If Jacob ate 2 chocolate
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

24 munchkins.

Step-by-step explanation:

Let C be the number of chocolate and D be number of glazed donut holes in the original box.

We are told if Jacob ate 2 chocolate  munchkins, then 1/11 of the remaining Munchkins would be chocolate. We can represent this information as:

C-2=\frac{1}{11}*(C+D-2)...(1)

We are also told if he instead added 4  glazed Munchkins to the original box, 1/7 of the Munchkins would be chocolate. We can represent this information as:

C=\frac{1}{7}*(C+D+4)...(2)

Upon substituting C's value from equation (2) in equation (1) we will get,

\frac{1}{7}*(C+D+4)-2=\frac{1}{11}*(C+D-2)

Let us have a common denominator on right side of equation.

\frac{1}{7}*(C+D+4)-\frac{7*2}{7}=\frac{1}{11}*(C+D-2)

\frac{C+D+4-14}{7}=\frac{1}{11}*(C+D-2)

Multiplying both sides of our equation by 7, we will get,

7*\frac{C+D-10}{7}=7*\frac{1}{11}*(C+D-2)

C+D-10=\frac{7}{11}*(C+D-2)

Multiplying both sides of our equation by 11, we will get,

11*(C+D-10)=11*\frac{7}{11}*(C+D-2)

11*(C+D-10)=7*(C+D-2)

11C+11D-110=7C+7D-14

11C-7C+11D-7D=-14+110

4C+4D=96

4(C+D)=96

(C+D)=\frac{96}{4}

(C+D)=24

Therefore, the total number of Munchkins in original box is 24.

What is the average rate of change of the function f(x)=20(14)xf(x)=20(14)x from x = 1 to x = 2? Enter your answer, as a decimal
Advocard [28]
The average rate of a function f(x) over an interval x = a and x = b is given by:

Average \ Rate \ of \ Change= \frac{f(b)-f(a)}{b-a}

Given the function

f(x)=20(14)^x

The average rate of change from x = 1 to x = 2 is given by:

\frac{f(2)-f(1)}{2-1} = \frac{20(14)^2-20(14)^1}{1}  \\  \\ =20(196-14)=20(182)=3,640
