Who do you think should draw the line as to what constitutes gene therapy and what constitutes gene enhancement? parents? doctor
Viktor [21]
Gene therapy is a method or a technique that uses genes to treat or prevent a disease instead of using drugs while gene enhancement involves use of genetics to improve the form of an organism in terms of desirable traits or selected characteristics of these organisms. Doctors have a wide range of knowledge and skills about the gene enhancement and gene therapy such that they know the efficient way to use the technique and the time when the use of these techniques is required. In addition, they know when the techniques are not to be used as they might give different immune responses to the body. Therefore, doctors should draw the line as to what constitutes both the gene therapy and gene enhancement.

barxatty [35]

4 cells would be created after meiosis and each cell would have 7 chromosomes.

Meiosis

Meiosis is the division of non-vegetative cells. It is a reductional division during which the ploidy level of the parent cell is halved in the daughter cells.

Thus, a cell with 2n = 14 that undergoes meiosis will produce daughter cells with n = 7.

Usually, 4 daughter cells are produced at the end of meiosis.
