The Length of the play ground is 15 meter. The width is 5 meters. 15x5=75 and since 15 is 3x larger than 5 they should be the numbers we are looking for here.

So 15+15+5+5= 40 the perimeter of the playground should be 40 meters.

I hope this helps!

Triangle ABC will be dilated according to the rule (x,y), where point F is the center of dilation. What will be the coordinates
Arturiano [62]
To dilate an object using a given scale factor we can multiply the coordinates of the object by the scale factor to get the coordinates of the image. However, this can only be done when the center of dilation is the origin (0,0). For non-origin center of dilation like in our case we have to locate the points of the image by construction in a Cartesian plane using the center and the scale factor. In this case we need to measure the distance of A from a point F (center of dilation) the we multiply it by 0.25 (the scale factor) then using the same path we measure the distance we get to locate point A'. Hence, by so doing point A' will be (1,0).

Distance formula derived from Pythagorean theorem
allsm [11]

Answer:

The Distance Formula itself is actually derived from the Pythagorean Theorem which is a 2 + b 2 = c 2 {a^2} + {b^2} = {c^2} a2+b2=c2 where c is the longest side of a right triangle (also known as the hypotenuse) and a and b are the other shorter sides (known as the legs of a right triangle).
