✽ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ~Hello There!~ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ✽

➷ I don't think it would be appropriate for me to do them all for you

However, I will do 4 questions randomly selected from across the worksheet - this is so you can understand the different aspects of this topic.

1) -12 > x - 7

In order to solve, we need to isolate x

To do this, add 7 to both sides:

-5 > x

Now the inequality is solved

Since we don't have any 'equal to' as part of the symbol, you just need to draw a circle at -5 on the number line and an arrow pointing towards the left. This is because 'x' is less than -5 or -5 is greater than x.

6) 15 + x \leq 0

Again, we need to isolate x

To do this, subtract 15 from both sides:

x\leq -15

Now the inequality is solved

Since we do have the 'equal to' part, you need to draw a filled in circle at -15 on the number line and draw an arrow pointing to the left. This is because 'x' is less than or equal to -15

10) \frac{n}{3} > 3

We need to isolate n

To do this, multiply both sides by 3:

n > 9

Again, we don't have the 'equal to' part in the symbol so you just need to draw a circle at 9 on the number line with an arrow pointing to the right. This is because 'n' is greater than 9.

23) 12n\geq 84

We need to isolate n

To do this, divide both sides by 12:

n \geq 7

Since we do have the equal to symbol, draw a filled in circle at 7 on the number line and an arrow pointing to the right because 'n' is greater than or equal to 7.

➶ Hope This Helps You!

➶ Good Luck (:

➶ Have A Great Day ^-^

1. Use the Pythagoras theorem
13^2 = x^2 + 5^2
solve for x and youll get the height of the roof.

2. let x = length of the rpoe)-

x^2 = 9^2 + 12^2

3. Pythagoras again
20^2 = x^2 + 12^2
