In order to ensure that they had the water they needed for their farms, the Inca built large canal systems to irrigate, or bring water to, their fields. The canals also brought water to the cities. Many streets had supplies of fresh water running through a canal.
After WWI the league of nations forced Germany to pay fpr the entire war, and took away all the land they had fought for. So it collapsed the German economy, which inevitably lead to WWII
No but I’m sure at the time for them it wasn’t seen as bad had they known they’d leave a trail of famine, slave trading and small wars they’d maybe think twice but certainly there motives at the time was land, power and money
